Skagerak is an international design company established in 1976 in Denmark. Who's collection consists of indoor and outdoor furniture and accessories. The name Skagerak refers to their northern roots and to the strait  ‘Skagerrak’ that connects Denmark to its Nordic neighbours. Skagerak creates a functional and long-lasting design, and one of their most significant ambitions is to take responsibility and stay curious. Always look for new ways of doing business,  which has led Skagerak to the forefront of modern sustainable furniture production. 

In 2022 Skagerak joined the Fritz Hansen family, bringing two pioneering Danish furniture design brands together, both with quality and craftsmanship as core values and ambitious responsibility goals.
