Designed in 1964 by architect and designer Tito Agnoli for the Italian masters of rattan craft, Bonacina 1889, the P3 Lounge Chair combine sculptural elegance, playful expression, and ergonomic comfort. Formed from handwoven rattan strips fixed to a tubular steel frame, the P3 represent the highest level of rattan craft, beautifully showcasing the material’s natural warmth and texture.
Born in Lima (Peru) in 1931, he graduated in architecture in Milan. He works mainly as an industrial designer. He was an assistant to Ponti and De Carlo at the Faculty of Architecture in Milan and taught at the Istituto d’Arte in Lissone. He has been nominated twice for the Compasso d’Oro award and was awarded the gold medal at Neocon in Chicago.
