Rey Collection by Bruno Rey for Dietiker, in collaboration with HAY
HAY has joined forces with renowned furniture manufacturer Dietiker to present the Rey Collection, originally designed by Swiss designer Bruno Rey in 1971. Coming soon to Cult Design showrooms in late 2022.
The new Rey collection of chairs, stools and tables retains the iconic unified silhouette and innovative screwless production process, but has been updated in new dimensions to accommodate contemporary lifestyle requirements and is available both in original colours, as well as new tones and upholstery options selected by HAY.
Developed around the acclaimed stackable chair design – known for its screwless production process – the whole collection is unified by a solid composition and rounded edges.
The collection retains the functionality and resilience of the classic designs and has been modified in new dimensions to accommodate contemporary lifestyle requirements. Available both in original colours, as well as new tones and upholstery options selected by HAY.
"To me, the Rey Chair is very honest. It has a few simple components, but is put together in an innovative way that makes it very robust. It also has generous proportions, so it's both comfortable to sit on and beautiful to look at." Rolf Hay
