To the Danish designer Erik Ole Jørgensen, good design was not just about aesthetics, it was also about practicality.
He united simplicity with great understanding for tactility in both textiles and in furniture. His love for the craft and the details is clear to see in the design of the EJ 315 chairs. The design has some spectacular details in the beautiful upholstery work, where handsewn buttons adorn both the backseat and the seat of the chair.
EJ 315 is still known as the archetype on the Nordic classic armchair. It is available both with a low and tall back.
