The design duo Ernst & Jensen have challenged their classic Insula shape with their newest design; Insula Mirror. They have transformed the Insula shape into another element for your walls.
The mirror is a decorative addition for your walls which creates a visual dynamic on the, so often, calm and bare walls. The mirror is available in three sizes and can each be hung in six different ways. With this feature, the mirrors can be turned, placed and composed by temper, needs and desire.
Insula Mirror reflect the well-known Insula Piccolo side table with the significant mirror frame that creates an exciting contrast to the organic shape while adding a precision to the object at the same time, which as a result makes the shapes appear almost iconic.
The mirrors are available in three sizes and can be placed in six different ways making it possible for the mirrors to be turned and composed freely according to your mood and desire.
With their joint work in recent years, the Danish design duo of Anne-Mette Jensen (1969) and Morten Ernst (1964) have manifested themselves as exponents of contemporary Danish design.
The duo’s collaboration dates back to their time as students at the School of Architecture in Copenhagen. Here they were both educated as architects in, respectively, 1997 and 1998.
