EMBRACE SERIES BY EOOS FOR CARL HANSEN AND SON// Carl Hansen & Son extended the Embrace Series by Austrian design trio EOOS to comprise dining tables, lounge tables and a new dining chair. This striking and unconventional furniture series is both elegant and sculptural.
KONAMI BY DAMIAN WILLIAMSON FOR ERIK JØRGENSEN// Konami is a perfect balance of artistic vision and skill. At first glance, it appears to be minimalistic, but upon closer inspection, designer Damian Williamson’s stylistic waves and organic curves set the scene. The wide armrests and the soft cushions make Konami a perfect resting point, whether sitting or lying. As a significant counterpoint to Konami’s soft pillows, Williamson has equipped the sofa with slim steel legs that gracefully lift the body from the floor.
LOUNGE CHAIR JH97 BY JAIME HAYON FOR FRITZ HANSEN// The Fritz Hansen Lounge Chair JH97 strikes the perfect balance between past and future. Applying classic craftsmanship to innovative design, the JH97 is a modern lounge chair that is light and sculptural in expression.
MOBY BY BIRGITTE DUE MADSEN AND JONAS TRAMPEDACH FOR KARAKTER// Moby is a beautiful and sculptural lamp with a soft indirect light that will be available in four different sizes.
OCEAN COLLECTION BY JOERGEN & NANNA DITZEL FOR MATER// The Ocean Collection is a reimagined table-and-chair collection (originally designed in 1955) in ocean waste plastic - combining innovative solutions to prevent pollution of the world’s oceans, with one of the 20th century’s most renowned designers, Nanna Ditzel. The series is characterized by its light structure with repeated slats and metal frames, and can be used indoors or outdoors.
PANTONOVA BY VERNER PANTON FOR MONTANA// Pantonova is a reissued 1971 seating system that offers limitless possibilities. It consists of three distinct seating modules: Linear, Concave and Convex, which can be used alone as sculptural, iconic chairs – or freely combined and arranged into various organically shaped seating formations, such as a circle, a half-circle, a wave, or an S-shape.
WELLBEING COLLECTION BY ILSE CRAWFORD FOR NANIMARQUINA// The Wellbeing collection consists of a hammock, throw, tapestry, cushions and rugs. Every piece in the collection focusses on tactility, materiality and quality and adds warmth and softness to indoor environments to create a connection to the senses.
NOLA BY CHARLOTTE HØNCKE FOR SOFTLINE// A series of lounge furniture created with comfort, simplicity and lightness in mind, Nola has soft, simple lines that look pleasing from all angles.
CONTOUR CHAIR BY BØRGE MOGENSEN FOR CARL HANSEN AND SON// The year 1949 was an important one for Danish designer Børge Mogensen who, on the cusp of a new decade, demonstrated a new side to his talent. In creating a number of characterful and expressive pieces of furniture, he challenged both form and material. One of the most elegant examples is the sculptural Contour Chair, which is now within Carl Hansen & Son’s collection of design classics.
SHADE OUTDOOR BY BEGÜM CANA ÖZGÜR FOR NANIMARQUINA// The Nanimarquina Outdoor collection arises from the desire to transfer the warmth of interior spaces to the outside world. Areas where the common denominator is the absence of walls and delineated spots, in which the rug becomes the perfect resource to define and create comfortable outdoor environments.
The exhibition of light comes around every second year at Salone del Mobile so it’s only right that we shine a light on the best, brightest and most innovative lighting seen from our brands during the year of Euroluce.
QUASI OE BY OLAFUR ELIASSON FOR LOUIS POULSEN// Eliasson is fascinated by the intersection between mathematics, engineering and biology, which has informed his experiments with geometric patterns in his artworks and installations. A continuation of this research, the OE Quasi features an outer aluminium frame in the form of an icosahedron (with 20 triangular faces) that encloses a reflector in white polycarbonate shaped as a dodecahedron (with 12 pentagonal faces) to create this intricate, eye-catching and geometric design.
PLANNER TABLE LAMP BY PAUL MCCOBB FOR FRITZ HANSEN// A new addition to the Fritz Hansen Planner series of relaunched designs from the 1950’s by the late American designer Paul McCobb, Planner Table Lamp channels a minimalist expression with a decidedly Scandinavian feel.
YUH BRASS BY GAMFRATESI FOR LOUIS POULSEN// An extension of the award-winning Yuh collection – the Yuh Brass floor and table lamp is available in white or black matt paint with brushed brass and a marble base.
